My name is Brooke and I am the owner/director of Explore More Daycare. I always knew I wanted to work with children. When I was little, I loved playing teacher and taking care of my babydoll’s. I spent many summers in junior high and high school babysitting for friends and family. I started as a license-exempt provider for my nephews in 2020 after I had my first son. I became licensed in January of 2024 after realizing that this is what I absolutely love doing and I couldn’t imagine not working with children. While I am currently a Family Child Care provider, I hope to soon expand into a center.

I graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 2015. I went on to get my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maine in Augusta, graduating in May 2023. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Maine in Farmington. 

I was born and raised in the same location that the daycare sits today in Greene. I married my high school sweetheart Zachary in 2019 and we have one son named Oakley and two daughters named Novalei and Maislee. We have two dogs, Chloe and Xena, four cats, Jetta, Niko, Turbo, and Sadie, and a bearded dragon, Loki. 

In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures with my family, reading, traveling, and sightseeing.

My name is Zachary and I am the maintenance man/co-owner of Explore More Daycare. I love spending time with the kiddos in the morning before leaving work and seeing them when I get home from work is the highlight of my day. 

I graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 2015 and went on to work on vehicles and become a certified Nissan Technician. I have since switched gears and now work on powersports when I am not at the daycare.

In my spare time I enjoy fourwheeling, snowmobiling, riding my motorcycle, spending time with family, and bringing Brooke’s ideas for the daycare to life.

My name is Amanda and I am the assistant director at Explore More Daycare. I have cared for children on and off throughout my entire life. Outside of raising two children, I have also helped care for all 7 of my grandchildren. I was a license exempt provider from 2012 to 2014, and again from 2021-2023.

I live in Turner, which is also where I grew up. I graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 1998. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and exploring the world around me.
